• i’ve watched all the anime now and seeing that trailer sure did make me least a little stoked. can see a big roster coming from this and different realms, not just the main world. that they could add over time too. and also use that as a way to collab with other games if they do get to that point.

• This looks like the absolute best option for a 7 deadly sins game, fits the theme, fits how the whole anime developed (usually some main plot, with some random “side” stuff happening), lost of characters, I mean, fits perfectly.

• Knowing how the anime looks, I’m really amazed at the quiality displayed here, let’s really hope it’s multiplayer, nothing better than playing with the squad.

• Wah- This game looks so promising! I’m too scared to hype it too much because I kept seeing too many games being a complete disappointment but OH this looks amazing.

• The combat looks so engaging and dynamic, I can’t wait to try it!

• It looks good, I personally love graphics like this and the combat looks enjoyable. Though I do wonder why they chose 7 Deadly Sins, I don’t hate the anime, but I feel there are better choices for a Genshin Impact type of game. Personally, I would have loved if it was Digimon. I’m also very concerned if Netmarble is developing and or publishing it, it’s Korean studio that makes mobile games, that’s a double whammy of nope.

• I like how Genshin went from being a clone of Breath of the Wild, to Genshin having its own genre.

• It looks good and all aesthetically, but the fact that it’s developed by NETMARBLE who’s notorious for making games with so many paywall stuff. The last NETMARBLE game I played is just expensive and it’s hard to be f2p, if there’s ever a pvp, this game will be screwed.

• Competition is good. Especially with Mihoyo refusing to separate Genshin server and applying censorship on all servers (Ningguang back shoulders being problematic, like wtf is that). I hope more non CN Genshin like games keep popping.

• I’m not usually a fan of games made for anime, or anime made from games, but this is actually looking pretty good! We’ll ultimately have to see how it turns out with content and gacha mechanics, but it’s looking splendid.

• Let’s be real, as much as I want to believe these trailers the original game will probably be much more underwhelming, so let’s not get our hopes up

• as much as i like the art style of Genshin Impact, being a Soulsbourne fan, fighting slimes and walking plants wasnt it for me.. But this one looks legit fun.

• The trailer looking clean as hell always gives me concerns for some reason because most times it doesn’t turn out well and also the Diane helping Meliodas part seems sus because of how the stamina bar finished so quick but its a trailer so I won’t take it way too seriously

• I’ve watched the anime, read the manga, and played 7ds grand cross for a year. I love everything in this franchise and this new game has me so exicted!

• The alpine motif (white with brown trim and triangular patterns) for buildings is pretty popular! My hometown is full of it, so it’s always nostalgic to see for me. This looks really nice! Excited to see what they do with under water exploration

• I doubt these kinds of games will be released on Switch until it gets a hardware upgrade. It’s soon to be 5 years old and it’s performance has a lot to be desired.

• Thanks Stix for bringing in the news. I like it how you are one of the few one genuinely excited by new releases! HOWEVER - The world is going on a dangerous trend. The Chinese gacha greed (Genshin, PGR, Alchemy stars and pretty much 90% of mobile games these days especially in this category) is spreading out without limit. I’m not saying their games do not have quality (they are great) but their goal is to bleed your wallet dry or waste your life with countless hours of useless grind. I know it’s sad that mmo news are short these days and you must make the best of coverage from the little material you get, but the future your are propagating is a bleak one - where the Chinese grab any IPs they can, attach famous Japanese voice actors on them and make you pay your soul for it.

• As long as it works and doesn’t disappoint us like other anime games

• I played 7DS and i really love it until genshin came… this makes me so excited.

• Hopefully they will bring this into a multiplayer…..where at least optional. Looks better then I expected, & underwater reminded of like a Zelda feel to it. But grouping up with some friends/gamer buds is a bit more exciting then soloing through a game, & that’s how “I feel” on that. Let’s 🙏 multiplayer….

• its not one of the animes i have seen but the game looks amazing and will most likely try it out when it comes out

• To be fair the town environments are reminiscent of seven deadly sins as well like that first pan of him walking through a town was reminiscent of the town he got to before meeting Ban again

• This looks pretty good, if the gameplay is at least as good as Genshin then I might go watch the anime and transition to this game, since genshin just feels like a daily chore (and I’m really contemplating selling acc to get rid of the chore)

• Sadly looks like another single player with AI squad controls. It looks super nice, fluid combat etc… but we really need an mmo or at least co-op with this quality.

All of their gacha games are horribly geared towards monetization and korean companies tend to have “battle pass” that lasts two weeks but costs the same as normal “battle pass” from other games.

• The impications of this are massive. If the game is a commercial success other Anime-inspired games may follow. Potentially culminating in the game that everyone and their mother has been fantasizing about for decades - an open world Genshin clone One Piece game.

• Finally! Genshin already at end game(lvl 90 char, max lvl20 5-star artifacts and max talents) and when you’re around AR55+ it lacks content. And they expect us to be the same “late game” we are for 10 more years. I mean there still the fact where constellations says that max level of ability is 15 yet you can only achieve up to 13.

• man I was hopeful for a $59.99 one and done package… despite Genshin being ok I am heavily detached from its story when compared to a normal single player game because of the way it is pieced together in a TV series like structure. Also the nature of the gacha means they will never take any risks with any character potentially getting killed. Like when they released Inazuma and tried to paint Ei as the big bad they also threw her in a banner. Playable characters do not stay evil for long. All of the threatening vibes right out the window.
