Mahindra revealed the prices of 5-seater MX, AX3 and AX5 trims. The Mahindra XUV700 will be available in two broad trims MX and AX
The XUV700 will be available in five and seven seater configurations.
Exterior highlights include flush-fitting door handles, cornering lamps, sequential turn-indicators, high-beam assist and LED lighting.
It features twin 10.25-inch displays for the touchscreen infotainment and digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, and powered memory driver seat.
Safety will be covered by upto seven airbags, a 360-degree parking camera, blind-view monitor, driver assist features and electronic parking brake.
It is powered by 200PS 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 155PS/185PS 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired to 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions and an optional AWD.

Finally! Mahindra has revealed the styling, features and powertrain of the XUV700. The XUV700 will be available in two trims - MX and AX - the latter being the more premium and powerful one. It will further come in five and seven-seater configurations.
The XUV700 looks larger and more premium than the XUV500. It is the first car that features Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo. Other visual elements up front include a chrome slat grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, and LED headlamps. The exterior profile will also carry high-beam assist, sequential turn-indicators, flush-fitting door handles, up to 18-inch dual tone machined alloy wheels and cornering lamps.
The SUV gets a sloping roofline, broad shoulders, and quintessential kink around the C-pillar like the outgoing XUV500. There’s also an integrated roof spoiler, a shark fin antenna, large wrap-around LED tail lamps, dual exhaust muffler, and a chunky rear skid faux plate.
The cabin gets a dual-tone black and creme theme with heavy chrome inserts across the dashboard and leatherette seats. The interior looks upscale and tech-savvy, but thankfully, very neatly laid out.
The XUV700 features up to seven airbags, Mahindra’s new AdrenoX operating system, Amazon Alexa-powered 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, 6-way powered driver seat with memory function, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and air filter. The base-spec MX variant will miss out on these above-mentioned features and instead get a 7-inch instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, Android Auto, LED tail lamp, and steering mounted switches.
The XUV700 will offer optional packs with wireless charging, 12-speaker Sony sound system, flush fitting handles, a 360-degree camera, blind-view monitoring, and electric parking brake.
The XUV700’s highlighted segment-first safety feature is the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) with radar and sensor-based features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, smart pilot assist, ane-keep assist, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control, and driver drowsiness detection system.

The XUV700 comes with 200PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and 185PS 2.2-litre diesel engines, both mated to 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The base-spec MX series diesel will be detuned for 155PS and 360Nm, paired to a 6-speed manual as standard. While it comes in Front-wheel-drive as standard, there’s also an optional segment first all-wheel-drive. The SUV gets four drive modes: Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom.
The Mahindra XUV700 is priced from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will take on the likes of the MG Hector, Hector Plus, Tata Harrier, Safari, Jeep Compass, and Hyundai Alcazar.

Mahindra finally revealed its all-new 5/7-seater Mahindra XUV700 for India in both petrol and diesel engine options. The new Mahindra XUV700 will be launched in the country this festive season, and ahead of its price reveal, Mahindra showcased the new XUV700 to the global audience. The new Mahindra XUV700 is based on Mahindra’s global W601 platform, and will come with some of the segment-first features, to replace the outgoing Mahindra XUV500 in India. The new three-row Mahindra XUV700 is also the first Mahindra car to sport the new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo that will eventually trickle down to all of Mahindra’s passenger vehicles.
The new Mahindra XUV700 features a new black grille with long vertical chrome slates with the new Mahindra logo placed at the centre.
The new Mahindra XUV700 will be offered in the MX & AdrenoX series. The design of the new XUV700 is unlike typical Mahindra cars, and features a new black grille with long vertical chrome slates with the new Mahindra logo placed at the centre. The new LED headlamps with large C-shaped LED DRLs flank the grille, giving a cheetah-like look up front. On the side, the Mahindra XUV700 comes with new flush-fitting door handles, a take from premium vehicles, while the electronic ORVMs double as turning indicators. At the back, the Mahindra XUV700 sports wraparound LED tail lamps, and a brawny bumper cladded with silver faux skid plates.
Inside, the new Mahindra XUV700 features a premium dual-tone cabin with up-market upholstery. The 5/7-seater Mahindra XUV700 also gets a single 10-inch unit that houses both an instrument display and infotainment system. Both the screens are equipped with Mahindra’s new connected car feature which is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, as well as Alexa support. Mahindra is also offering the new XUV700 with wireless charging. The music system is sourced from Sony with 15 speakers on offer. However, this will be introduced at a later stage.

The Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus rival measures 4,695mm in length, 1,890mm in width, 1,755mm in height, and sits on a 2,750mm wheelbase. A set of 18-inch alloys and disc brakes on all four wheels are also on offer with the top-end spec of the Mahindra XUV700. Mahindra will offer the new XUV700 with three driving modes- Zip, Zap, and Zoom. The top-spec XUV700 will come equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), with a Level-1 autonomous system. Mahindra says the radar and camera system of the XUV700 are tuned to suit Indian roads.

At the heart of the new Mahindra XUV700 sit two engine options- a 2.0-litre mHawk diesel engine that churns out 153bhp/182bhp, and 420Nm/450Nm of peak torque respectively,. Transmission is handled by a 6-speed manual as standard, whereas a 6-speed automatic gearbox is also on offer as an option. The 2.0-litre mStallion petrol unit churns out 197bhp and 380Nm of peak torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor. Mahindra claims the XUV700 accelerates from 0-100kmph in 5 seconds with the petrol unit.
