AUD/USD Forecast: Further declines still likely amid intrinsically AUD weakness
The AUD/USD pair is bearish, according to the daily chart. The 20 SMA capped advances, maintaining its firm downward slope. Technical indicators are in retreat mode after a failed attempt to surpass their midlines, with room to extend their slumps. In the near-term, and according to the 4-hour chart , the pair is also at risk of falling. The pair has settled below all of its moving averages, while the RSI indicator heads lower at around 39.
On Monday, Australia will publish the AIG Performance of Manufacturing Index for July and the Commonwealth Bank Manufacturing PMI for the same month. On Tuesday, the Reserve Bank of Australia will announce its decision on monetary policy, and investors are anticipating another dovish stance from Lowe & Co.
The AUD/USD pair closed around 0.7340, marginally lower on a weekly basis and down for a fifth consecutive week. The pair lost ground on Friday, weighed by the sour tone of global indexes. The Australian currency has been unable to attract buyers ever since the country announced local restrictive measures that affected economic progress. Softening gold prices add extra pressure on the pair at the end of the week.

MSI Sword 15 laptop on sale for $999 USD with 11th gen Core i7, GeForce GTX 3050 Ti graphics, and 144 Hz IPS display
1080p gaming at 60 FPS is more attainable than ever this generation. The measly 8 GB of RAM, however, is still a thing. Users may want to upgrade the memory whenever they get the chance.

Best Buy is currently running a promo for $200 USD off the 15.6-inch MSI Sword gaming laptop. The Sword is the latest budget gaming laptop from MSI designed for users who are satisfied with 1080p gaming at high graphical settings. It is the sister product to the MSI Katana.
The deal is notable for its high-end specifications relative to the $999 sale price. Users are getting an 11th gen Core i7-11800H processor, 144 Hz 1080p display, and a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti to be sufficient for playing the latest titles. Just a couple of years ago, this same price point would have only netted users a slower Core i5 with GeForce RTX 2060 graphics instead.
The major drawback to the deal is its limited 8 GB of system RAM which is thankfully user upgradeable.
We’ve yet to review the MSI Sword, but its build and quality are likely similar to the GF65 or GP65 series which inspired the Sword.
