Steve Jobs 傳記作者 Walter Isaacson 確認為 Elon Musk 寫傳

在 2011 年曾為 Steve Jobs 寫過傳記的 Walter Isaacson，現已確認會成為 Elon Musk 新傳記的作者。此前在六月時，Fox Business 曾報導過 Isaacson 與 Musk 商談合作可能性的流言。時至今日 Musk 自己發推證實了這一消息，並稱新書將涵蓋他在 Tesla、SpaceX 的工作以及「各種生活雜事」。

實際上，在 2015 年已經有另一位作者 Ashlee Vance 為 Musk 寫過一本名為《Elon Musk: How the Billionaire CEO of SpaceX and Tesla is Shaping our Future》的傳記。但考慮到在那之後 Tesla、SpaceX 等 Musk 名下的公司又取得了不少值得再書的成就，多一本新傳記也能讓人更好地了解矽谷「鋼鐵人」的事蹟吧。

目前 Isaacson 尚未正式就為 Musk 寫傳一事發表回應，但從六月起他就一直有在 Twitter 上分享 SpaceX 相關的內容。之前的 Jobs 傳記後來還被 Aaron Sorkin 改編成了電影，不知 Musk 的故事未來是不是也會被搬上大銀幕呢？

Men’s and Women’s Golf Release 2021 Fall Schedules

The Elon University men’s and women’s golf programs announced their respective 2021 fall schedules on Friday, August 6.“Year in and year out, we strive to build a schedule that features competition against the best programs in the country,” said men’s head coach, who is entering his ninth year leading the Phoenix. “We are very fortunate to live in a golf-rich state that provides us that opportunity. There is no doubt that this schedule will prepare us for the end of next spring in our efforts to win the CAA Championship.“The men’s team opens its fall at the Rod Myers Invitational, hosted by Duke on Sept. 11-12 and concludes the month at College of Charleston’s Battle at Briars Creek on Sept. 20-21. Elon then hosts the Sixth Annual Phoenix Invitational on Oct. 10-12 at Alamance Country Club in Burlington, N.C. Following its home tournament, the maroon and gold will travel to Raleigh, N.C. on Oct. 16-17 to play in NC State’s Wolfpack Intercollegiate before wrapping up its fall slate at UNCG’s Grandover Collegiate on Oct. 23-24.For the women’s team, the Phoenix starts its fall at the Golfweek Program Challenge in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Sept. 11-14. Elon will then host its Second Annual Elon Invitational on Sept. 19-21 at Alamance Country Club. The maroon and gold opens the month of October at N.C. A&T’s Aggie Invitational on Oct. 3-5 in Greensboro, N.C. before making the trip to Jacksonville, Ala. on Oct. 9-12 to compete in Jacksonville State’s Chris Banister Golf Classic. The Phoenix then concludes its fall season at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, hosted by Charleston in Kiawah Island, S.C. on Oct. 24-26.“We are looking forward to the fall season with the leadership ofand are very excited about our 2021 recruiting class and the addition of transfer Annabelle Ackroyd,” stated women’s head coach, who begins his 22nd season with the program. “The fall schedule will give everyone an opportunity to play and prepare us for the spring and a run at the conference championship.”
